Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
High pressure has declined to such an extent that turbulence will be able to penetrate into our region. These disturbances are going to be so weak, however, that they will bring some clouds and only a few showers.
Little change is expected for the next fews days, but the weekend offers some hope: it looks as if the Azores High accompanied by plenty of sunshine and rising temperatures will move into our region!
