Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
Warm yet slightly humid air masses keep moving in. On the whole, the weather will stay pleasant with increasing cloud in the afternoon and a moderate risk of thunderstorms.
Before the weekend there will be no changes. Sultry air masses will once again allow frequent sunny spells but will also encourage thunderstorms in the second part of the day.
