Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
We have to focus our attention on the Atlantic in order to know what is happening in the weather world at the moment. The Icelandic low has gained in strength and has triggered off a warm, westerly airflow. During the day, we will see variable amounts of cloud with occasional sunny spells, but no precipitation.
On Tuesday, the weather will not bring any change. On Wednesday and Thursday, the weather will become sunny.
