Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
High pressure remains stationary and we can thus look forward to another marvellous day! There will be plenty of sunshine with just a few harmless cumulus clouds. Temperatures will reach their maximum values at 16.30 pm. The evening will bring a slight risk of thunderstorms.
Todays trend will make people sit up: From Saturday, air masses will be moving in from the heart of the Sahara and it will become really incredibly hot!
