Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
March is the month with the least precipitation in Central Europe. In July, the most humid month, three times the amount falls in comparison! Todays weather heavy cloud and little precipitation illustrates this. We will see a mix of cloud, sunshine and only scattered showers.
On Monday, a stable area of high pressure will build, with clouds gradually dissipating and temperatures rising. And the best news is that there are still many nice days to come!
