Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
Under the large system of low pressure over Central Europe we will continue to be influenced by humid air.Such weather conditions will hardly make us jump for joy of course: the weather will be changeable with periods of thick cloud. There may also be occasional showers.
Saturday night, the clouds will increase, indicating a deterioration in the weather again for Sunday. It will be very cloudy all day with occasional rain. This humid weather will however only last until Monday when it will brighten up again.
