Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
The weather fronts of yesterday are clearing away and a weak area of high pressure will be able to build across the region. The cloudy remnants in the valleys will gradually dissipate. The sun will gain the upper hand and make temperatures rise to summer-like values.
Tomorrow the weather will remain bright and warm. Already by Wednesday the air will become more humid and increasing cloud will move in from the west. Before the afternoon showers and thunderstorms will form.
