Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
After the dying cold front that brought us clouds yesterday, a weak high pressure area will reach us today. The weather will stabilize, but it will not be very sunny yet. In the morning, there will be only a few harmless bands of clouds which will thicken a bit towards evening but they will not produce any precipitation.
During the next few days, our weather will remain changeable: Temporary sunny spells will alternate with periods of thick cloud and showers.
