Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
High pressure is continuing to build across the region, but before the sun can do its work it has to chase away the last clouds. After a cloudy morning, brighter weather will break through before midday.
The strong area of high pressure will influence our weather for several days. Perfect weather for trips and excursions is on the agenda! The sun will shine from a blue sky; only during the night, it will be cold.
