Garda is situated in a relatively sheltered position in a bay to the south-east of Lake Garda. The arm of Punta San Vigilio provides some protection to the north while the rocky outcrop of the Rocca di Garda stands sentry over the resort to the south. The southern end of the lake does not tend to be as affected by the strong lake winds in morning and afternoon as the lake resorts in the north.
Please note that the figures to the right are monthly averages and that weather can obviously be hotter (or colder) in any given period or day. Our more immediate weather forecast below should give a more accurate picture of forthcoming conditions.
Three Day Weather for Garda
On Thursday, neither high pressure nor low pressure will influence our weather and the air will be moderately humid and moderately stable. For our weather here this will mean a calm mix of sunshine and cloud with a bit more sunshine in the morning and a bit more cloud in the afternoon. The afternoon will bring a moderate risk of thunderstorms.
On Thursday, we will see the transition from low pressure to high pressure. The next few days, high pressure will increase and the risk of thunderstorms decrease. Simultaneously, temperatures will rise.
